About Us

The Florida Phlebotomy Association was established for the purpose of promoting a high standard community Allied Health Program that excels in quality patient care and competent Nationally Certified Phlebotomists. The Florida Phlebotomy Association was designed to provide both didactic and clinical instructional training in venipuncture to prepare students for National Certification. Our program champions Allied Health Education. Our graduates are competent and professionally trained career-oriented individuals dedicated to quality patient care and safety. The Florida Phlebotomy program is offered twice a year for 4 months & meets every Friday : 9AM-5PM.

* Abide by educational requirements set forth by the NPA.

The Health Care Industry continues to be one of the fastest growing segments of the global economy. With the increasing demand for professionally-trained, career-oriented individuals, the need for a phlebotomy program dedicated to quality assurance was a necessity. FLPA program ensures the health care community that allied professionals trained through the FLPA provide the highest level of patient care and safety. FLPA students will demonstrate knowledge of their field and stay current with advancements in the health care industry through continuing education.

The Florida Phlebotomy Associations Goals & Purpose:
    This program was designed to provide both didactic and clinical instruction, training in venipuncture. Didactic lectures cover the theory, anatomy and terminology with emphasis pertaining to the cardiovascular system. Clinical instruction provides hands-on training in venipuncture technique with procedures verified through a skills check off system. Students will perform 100 prop draws and will perform live draws on each other during the program.

Application Fee : $ 20.00
Registration Fee : $ 0.00

National Board Exam : $ 130.00 ( separate fee upon successful completion of the program )

Scheduled Payment Plan : A special agreement can be made for students to make a 50 % installment payment upfront of $ 475.00 to be paid in full prior to the first class. The remainder balance to be paid by installments and paid in full by the end of the 3rd month.

Other Fees
Returned Check Service Fee : A $ 35.00 service charge will be assessed on all checks returned unpaid by the bank. This includes payments stopped by student or account holder.

Tuition Transfer : Tuition is not transferable to another program.
